This handsome bunch are some of the 28 members of the Padstow Lifeboat Crew. Alan Tarby has been Coxswain since July 1993. Apart from Alan Tarby and John Alldridge who are full time lifeboat employees, all the rest are volunteers and they come from a variety of professions. Fishermen, Digger Driver, Policeman, Painter, Boat builder, Sales Rep, Publican, Paramedics. Two of the longest serving members of the crew are Peter Poole and Robert Norfolk who have over 65 years of service between them. |
